The Special Issue Rome has been published
The 7th Biennial RAMICS International Congress was taking place between 6-8 Nov 2024 Rome (Italy).
Under the theme "The Future of Money: Democracy, Localism and Inclusion" participants from 30 countries provided 58 presentations. The event examined how local monetary initiatives may reconnect citizens and formal institutions, particularly where regulatory gaps have pushed economic activity toward informal spheres. Out of these discussions and workshops, thirteen articles have been drafted and subjected to a full review, which we are now able to present here. A collection of ideas and in-depth research that can further expand and support the development of complementary currencies. We hope you find this an inspiring read and would be delighted if the articles were shared and cited.
